Huge Growth Expected in Leading Latin American Online Market

While at first blush The Lost and Found Family might appear to be just another simple drama for America's faith community, it really is so much more (read the synopsis here). The first time through I didn't give it a lot of credit, and I think I had my guard up. Because I had a review copy and needed to return it, I gave it another watch and just loved it the second time around. Why? Well, it is an honest story of compassion and acceptance. It's an ode to how messy love and community can be, and how worthwhile it is to get over ourselves--to truly learn to embrace life in all its uncertainty.

The only reason The Lost and Found Family ended up in my DVD-player at all is because of my friendship with Ellen Bry. The film is actually inconsistent with my general watching habits. It is a "heartwarming and inspirational family drama," which is code for being Christian. Because I love Ellen, I gave it not one, but two watches with my mom. And as I said before, while I liked it well enough the first time around, the second viewing really gave me an appreciation for the film.

Ever since the dot-COM bubble burst almost ten years ago, Maryland has been bragging about how biotech would not only become the next big thing in innovation and business but would put Maryland on the map. Well, while it has mostly been hyperbole, Rockville, Maryland, based Emergent BioSolutions has been the bright-burning exception under the leadership of Chairman and CEO, Mr. Fuad El-Hibri. I spent a little time digging around the AdAge Power 150 and grabbed the OPML and hacked it up and then sorted it in no particular order (I don’t want to play any faves) and here you go! An exceptionally long list of the top marketing, PR, SEO, and advertising blogs.  If you’re interested in following all these cool kids, be sure to learn what an OPML is, how to use it, and then grab the latest OPML from AdAge.

When I realized that I could download the OPML file from the Power 150 site and then hack it around into a contact list of over 900 of the top advertising, marketing, PR, and SEO bloggers on the planet, I did so.

Ever since, I have been scheduling calls with all of the folks I have been admiring on a daily basis. Two days ago I spent an hour on the horn with Lee Hopkins, "one of Australia's leading thinkers on communication strategy in an online environment," who is, in fact, one of the World's leading thinkers on communication strategy in an online environment.  We had a great chat -- and amazing talk!

It is just the time of year when The Fresh Air Fund begins preparing for the summer full of summer camps filled with happy faces and lots and lots of kids from the cities who get to spend their summer vacation out of the city and in the country. It is also a very important time for finding and hiring camp counselors for the summer as well as locating, vetting, and securing host families as well. All of this information is collected on a little informational web site you can check out, but I will excerpt some of this below.

While I have already thanked all of the wonderful, generous bloggers who have blogged about Operation Survivor since Labor Day, there has been a countinued outpouring of support.
